Sorry for saying this. But we are going to extend our API maintainance to get more time to work on our backend and client systems

We are going to rewrite our API in a different framework for easier handling and workflow.
Mist Client would not be able to work without the API. Please remember Mist is still in beta so next time there will be a better system for Mist Client to work without the API.
